What are Veritas Gateway Dinners?

Our mission at Veritas has always been to do whatever we can to support the entire culinary community. Our love for all things having to do with the table – eating, drinking, talking, trying new foods, experiencing new sights, sounds, tastes and places led us to a profound respect for the professionals that make up the independent restaurant community.

St. Louis is lucky to have a spectacular array of interesting, diverse and delicious restaurants – each with its own personality, colors, flavors and spirit. Come to Veritas and get to know one restaurant at a time at a “Gateway Dinner.” Their chef, their menu, their style – here at Veritas for one evening.

The invited restaurant chooses the date, the menu and the pricing. We take the reservations, lend our space and host the party! We also serve the wine. Our professionals choose wines based on the menu and have several bottles open for your tasting prior to chooseing what you would like by the glass. In addition, Veritas’ “wine list” is simply our entire wine selection. Guests can choose from the hundreds of wines that Veritas sells in the shop to our knowledgeable customers every day. We will serve any wine from our rack, for your consumption at one of our events or at our bar, and will simply add a $10.00 corkage to the sticker price on the bottle. Corkage waived for all VIN Members.

Reservations are required for all Gateway Dinners and are limited to forty guests. The price includes a complete dinner and a tasting of the evenings wines. Wine is available for purchase by the glass or by the bottle.
