Tables of Eight

At 7 pm on one Friday of each month, as many as 40 guests gather at Veritas Gateway to Food and Wine. They are seated at 5 tables that seat 8 guests each. Some tables are filled with groups of friends who organized to make reservations together and at other tables are small groups who will meet each other for the first time at the Tables of Eight event.

After appetizers and a tasting of the evening’s wines, the groups will be seated to enjoy the evening fare.  Salads, main courses and desserts are served at each table and individual wine selections are made.Several wines will be available by the glass and all the wine on the Veritas racks can be ordered by the bottle.

At Tables of Eight events, our customary $10.00 a bottle "in house corkage" will be reduced to $5.00. Guests may choose either the ‘by the glass’ or ‘by the bottle’ option.  Remember that a recent Missouri law enables guests to pop the cork back IN a "not quite empty" bottle so you can take it home and enjoy what you did not consume at Veritas at a later time.

Per Person Prices for Tables of Eight vary based on the theme and the seasonal menu.

Mediterranean Tables of Eight

Friday, April 25^th

The style of the Veritas Mediterranean evening is more of a rolling set of fabulous small plates rather than a fixed set of courses that get served and removed. 

Light appetizers will accompany the tasting of the evenings wines.

When the tables are seated, our servers will offer platters that include:
